Elizabeth Choy Moorman came to a serious practice of yoga in 1993. She first took teacher training in New Hope in 2002, and completed teacher training with Carol Cook and Jo Carter-Yount in 2004, and began teaching in the Princeton area in 2003. She continues to study regularly at SY, and has studied with Tias Little, Mira Mehta, Michael Thomas Fortel, Kevin Gardiner, and Bobbi Goldin. She is well versed in anatomy and Iyengar alignment, and also takes aspects of Vinyasa and Anusara in her teaching. She encourages students to practice safely, with attention to alignment and accessibility of movement, and imbues her classes with a sense of humor and playfulness.
